Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you stopped by.
Our country is suffering from a lack of conscience. There are those who see nothing wrong with millions of Americans, including children and the elderly, going hungry while a tiny number of people enrich themselves without any consideration of the economic injustice that allows such inequality to exist. Even more confusing is the defense of this greed by those claiming to be Christian.
Although I know many people are concerned, it sometimes seems hopeless to me. I want to add my voice to those who believe that every American deserves the opportunity to pursue happiness - something that is almost impossible when you are hungry and homeless.
